Where do I buy my tickets?
Right here. When you tap «Buy», we take you straight to Vivaticket, our official ticketing channel.
There is also a box office at Frontón México, subject to availability. Buy only through the official channels: we cannot validate third-party tickets.
How much are tickets?
From $807.30 MXN per person in Galería Lateral, on Thursday and Friday performances. That is the final price: the 15% online service fee is already inside.
Prices change by area and by type of day. The full table of all 13 areas, with the ticket, the fee and the total for each, is on the tickets page.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes. There is a box office at Frontón México itself. Even so, performances may be sold out by the time you arrive, so we recommend buying in advance to secure your place.
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes. You can transfer your tickets to anyone, free of charge.
Do you offer refunds? What is the exchange policy?
Subject to availability, you may change the date and time of your booking up to 48 hours before your experience begins. Write to us with your ticket ID number.
Tickets are non-refundable. A refund does apply if the production cancels the performance, if you are charged twice or if the ticket could not be issued. Full details are in the Terms and Conditions.
How do I request an invoice for my purchase?

Do you offer press passes?
Yes. Write to infomexico@malinchethemusical.com with the subject line PASE PARA PRENSA, stating which outlet you represent.
Will there be additional performances?
We cannot guarantee additional dates. The tickets page shows the 135 confirmed performances and their up-to-date availability.
The show
How long is the performance?
The performance runs 2 hours and 55 minutes, in two acts with a 25 minute intermission already included in that total. Allow about 3 hours at the venue.
Where does it take place?
At Frontón México: Av. de la República 17, Tabacalera, Cuauhtémoc, 06050, Mexico City. It is an indoor venue, right next to the Monumento a la Revolución.
What can I expect from the show?
Malinche El Musical is the magnum opus of Nacho Cano, founder of Mecano and creator of Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar. It celebrates the birth of a singular people, born of the meeting of two ancient cultures.
It brings together the best of theatre, the power of a live concert and the elegance of a contemporary ballet company.
What items are prohibited?
Weapons, sharp objects, sprays and drinks in glass bottles are not permitted. Smoking and vaping are not allowed at the venue.
Can I take photos or record?
Photography and video are not permitted during the performance. At the end of act two the cast will let you know when you may start recording.
Will there be interaction with the cast?
There is no direct interaction, though getting up to dance is always an option: you are welcome to join the cast in the songs of the show.
Is there a merchandise shop?
Yes, there is a merchandise shop at the venue.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. The minimum age to enter is 8. It is not a recommendation: it is an admission requirement and it is enforced at the door.
The reason is what the show itself involves. There is strobe lighting and intense light sequences, the volume is high throughout, and the running time is 2 hours 55 minutes with the 25 minute intermission already included.
If you are coming with children aged 8 or over, weigh up those three things before you buy. Every child takes a seat and needs their own ticket.
Can I come in if I arrive late?
Once the performance has started, there is no admission to the auditorium. If you arrive late you will wait until the intermission to take your seat.
It is down to the staging itself: the house goes dark and the light is on the stage. We recommend arriving early and making the most of the Pre-Show.
Is there an intermission?
Yes. The performance is in two acts with a 25 minute intermission.
During the intermission the theatre bars and Templo Canalla stay open.
Getting here and parking
How do I get to Frontón México?
Frontón México, Av. de la República 17, Tabacalera, Cuauhtémoc, 06050, Mexico City. We recommend the metro or metrobús because of the traffic.
By metro, Line 2 (Blue): Revolución station, the closest, or Hidalgo station. By metrobús, Line 1 (Red): Plaza de la República station, right beside the venue. By bike, there are lanes along Paseo de la Reforma and Av. de la República.
Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is at Plaza de la Revolución, a few steps from Frontón México, operated by IndiPark.
There is a special rate of $90 MXN: validate your ticket when you arrive at the car park so it is applied.
Even so, with the traffic around curtain time, the metro (Revolución station, Line 2) and the metrobús (Plaza de la República station, Line 1) are usually faster.
Pre-Show and restaurant
How early should I arrive?
The Pre-Show starts two hours before curtain, with music and our full food and drink offering. Templo Canalla opens at that same time.
Doors open two hours before the 8:00 pm and 1:00 pm performances. Check the time for your performance on the tickets page.
Can I eat and drink at the venue?
Yes. Templo Canalla, the market-bar, opens two hours before every performance. There are also bars inside the theatre and the Pelota Mestiza restaurant, by chef Lula Martín del Campo.
For the Saturday and Sunday matinees there is brunch at Pelota Mestiza from 11:00 am.
Accessibility
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Are there step-free areas?
The upper levels of the venue are reached by stairs. If you need step-free access, choose the Preferente area.
Are there accessible restrooms?
Yes, there are restrooms for people with reduced mobility.
Does the show use strobe lighting?
Yes. The show contains scenes with strobe lighting, flashing or flickering lights and light sequences that may affect photosensitive audience members, including those vulnerable to photosensitive epilepsy.
